I am an avid collector of rare titles on motorsports. From Le Mans to the FIA-GT to Carroll Shelby, the 100+ books in my collection are mouth-watering to any sportscar fan. Among them is a copy of Landmarques' Ferrari 250 GTO by Keith Bluemel and Jess Pourret. Let me tell you this book is absolutely wonderful!!! It gives you a comprehensive look into every single GTO built (by chassis number) including the prototypes and other special variants (such as the 4-Liter cousins and the unique "Breadvan" model). Every page is full of great b&w or color photos of these beautiful machines along with all the technical data you could wish for. The book covers the competition history of each example, and even gives a listing of owners up to the date it was published in 1998-1999. If you are a fan of the Ferrari 250 GTO, whether you like the 1962-63 version or the 1964 version, then this is the book for you! It is expensive, but you'll forget about the price once you open the book to page 1.
