(More customer reviews)Bought two of these books for my boyfriend and my dad, who are both "handymen types." I read some of it myself and I think a good portion of the advice is just common sense, but the author explains it in a way that makes it easier to apply to a real-life situation. There were definitely a few pieces of knowledge that I didn't know and were very helpful to me. Overall, a good book to have for reference around the house.
