(More customer reviews)This book describes in detail the Series 2 and Series 3 E-type changes during production and lists serial number changes for the restorer who must know exactly the equipment on his/her vehicle. The black/white photographs are very detailed, and a handy reference. As always though, the exact serial number model of a specific change can be in doubt, so a good cross-reference guide on Series 3 is"Jaguar V-12 E-Type: A Guide to Authenticity" by Richard T. Russ with color photographs and details on the plating and color of various nuts, bolts, and equipment. The Restoration Guide, in my opinion, is an excellent companion to your sevice manual and parts catalogue.
