I am working on a 34 Ford project but figured this would have information applicable to any streetrod project. Publication has good photo presentations with many upclose detail items. Publication also has many small tips usable on any project and some good do's and don'ts that I have filed in my "How to do it" loose leaf binder. Well worth keeping in the build area and having in your library.

The 1934-35 Chevrolet has always been a popular choice with rodders. With the availability of a chassis, powertrain, and all the other parts and pieces required to build this Bow Tie, it has moved this tried-and-true favorite nearer the top of desirable builds. This manual shows you how to develop a chassis and outfit it with a powertrain and suspension and subsequently moves on to the body and paintwork. I found a few mathmatical errors that hinder it in it's technical signifigance. This sounds like a week criticism but there are alot of numbers involved. It is, however, very concise and an excellent start for readers looking for information and sourses for building an exciting powerplant.

Good to see the comments made on the time they were lauched on the market, but it is not necessary to have one on your Chevy library.

A real inside look at all of the internals of this engine. As a bonus, there is also a quick teardown and rebuild of much of the independent rear suspension unit. Covers everything except the actual rebuild of the differential. Also a bonus section on the SU carburettor. This book is required reading if you plan to do any of your own engine work. The photos are first rate, many in color. This is a collection of articles that previously appeared in Jaguar Quarterly (now Jaguar World) Magazine

Wonderful B/W photos of lots of details will help amature and professional restorers alike. To say that Neil has mastery of the subject matter is an understatement. The "Handbook" is a high powered, well written work that covers many aspects of energy management and distributed generation, including:
Generator types
Cycle types
Fuel costs
Economic considerations, including utility rates
Switchgear and types of operation (islanded, grid interconnected)
As a practicing engineer involved with the electrical aspects of utility interconnection, the information on other subject areas was welcome to broaden my understanding of the complete CHP issue.

This book receives my highest rating as a world-class work on the subject.

The modern four cylinder motorcycle engine started with Honda's 250 cc four cylinder racer from the early 60's (looks the same as todays engines). If you like small, complex, hi-tech engines (a 50cc twin, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder racer that Honda multiplied into a 5 cylinder 125cc racer and again into six cylinder double overhead cam racer) this book is for you. It details it all with amazing photos and history of ALL of the Japanese brands all the way up to the current MOTO GP racers. Two stoke lovers will not be disappointed. It covers with amazing detail a technological era of racing and competition that shows clearly why racing improves a brand. My only complaint is that the book is not hardbound.

My physican who is an intergrative specialist recommended the book and put me on Dr. Sinatras' diet and supplements. Within 4 weeks my ejection fraction went from 30 to 55 and my echocardiagram is normal. That and prayers to the Lord are amazing. God bless these pioneers. Dr. Sinatra is a very well known and respected cardiologist. Anyone with heart disease should read this book.
